This eLearning module is divided into 3 key lessons (Lessons 1-3). Each lesson comprises a video presentation, and supplementary resources including links and downloadable material. Development of this module was funded by an unrestricted educational grant from AbbVie Ireland Limited.

        The 3 lessons are as follows:
        Lesson 1: Identifying & Diagnosing Parkinson's Disease
        This lesson focuses on the key symptoms & features which suggest a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, and highlights the importance of the history & examination 
        Lesson 2: Pharmacological Management of Parkinson's Disease
        This lesson considers therapeutic options for management of Parkinson's disease, and addresses some common queries around the medications used
        Lesson 3: Non-Motor Symptoms (NMS) in Parkinson's Disease
        70% of patients with Parkinson's Disease will complain of Non-Motor Symptoms(NMS). This lesson emphasises the importance of recognising these symptoms, including mood disorders, and treating accordingly

These domains describe a framework of competencies applicable to all doctors across the continuum of professional development from formal medical education and training through to maintenance of professional competence. Since they describe the outcomes which doctors should strive to achieve, doctors should refer to these domains throughout the process of maintaining competence.
